Shannon McIntyre Biokinetics was established in 2017. We started our practice in Bedfordview with a small set-up which has grown year by year. Recently we expanded our practice to Edenvale. We hope to continue growing while keeping a high standard of service.

To Provide the best quality service to our Clients. To provide support and understanding, while achieving your rehabilitation goals, as well as promote health and wellness to get you to your best.

Our Vision is to provide our Clients with the support they need to manage their pain and improve their quality of life through movement. We aim to give our Clients the best through an individualised rehabilitation program and promote the many benefits of Biokinetics.

Shannon McIntyre

I qualified with an Undergraduate Degree in Sports Psychology in 2014 and went on to complete my Honours Degree in Biokinetics in 2015, during my honours year I was a contributing author to an article published November 2016, “Anthropometric and cardiovascular responses to hypertrophic resistance training in postmenopausal women”. I completed my Internship in 2016 in Roodepoort at Lara Leech Biokinetics where I gained vast experience in Orthopedic and Chronic illness rehabilitation. I then took a leap of faith and opened my own practice in 2017 and have been running since with great success.

I have also completed a course in Sports Massages, Sports Conditioning and Strapping. I am a Member of BASA  (Biokinetics Association of South Africa) and HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa).
